We have DNB (Diplomate of National Board) training programme with an annual intake of two candidates, offering comprehensive training in perioperative patient care, pain management and critical care medicine. Our aim is to develop future consultants in anaesthesiology who are able to manage critically ill patients undergoing major surgical procedures.


PROGRAMME HIGHLIGHTS
o Comprehensive training in developing knowledge, attitude and skill
o Strictly follows DNB curriculum
o Assistance for research work
o BLS/ACLS, PALS, NALS training
o Regular class schedule including discussion of clinical cases, journal club and mortality/morbidity review
o Training on USG guided regional blocks
o Advanced airway management including fibreoptic bronchoscopy, videolaryngoscopy and percutaneous tracheostomy
o Care of patients on mechanical ventilator support
o Library with excellent resources for reference
o Department e-library

We also have a training programme for anaesthesia technicians approved by BSS .

IN-HOUSE TRAINING PROGRAMME FOR ICU STAFF

we are pleased to organise an in-house training programme for ICU staff which includes 3 modules
1.Basic concepts of mechanical ventilation
2.Advanced life support
​3.ICU procedures
The training sessions will.be guided by experienced faculty. This include theory sessions, hands on training and ICU rounds. Those who successfully complete all the 3 modules shall receive a certificate which is valid for 6 months within the organisation after which they should renew it. The programme runs round the year providing training for staff in smaller groups.
